New Season

Hi everyone, we are inviting new clubs to join for the new season 2025/26.

If you wish to join the MSDBA please contact with Brian or Alan details of which can be found on our contact page.

New Season – Results!

So the new season is underway and the first results are in. Don’t forget you can follow your teams progress here throughout the year.

Match secretaries, please encourage your team captains to send those results in asap after the fixture so the leagues can be updated.

Good luck everyone!

Fixtures Meeting

Just a reminder that our Fixture Meeting will be held on Monday 16th September at Hurstpierpoint Village Hall, arrive for 7.15pm. It is important for clubs to attend in order to arrange your matches, as this is the easiest way to arrange these, than via email. We look forward to seeing you there.

New Season!

Hi everyone. The new 2024/25 season is nearly upon us and we will be holding our fixtures meeting on the 17th September. This year is already looking very promising with two new clubs already having signed up to play league matches in the MSDBA.

If you are a club looking to play friendly but competitive matches, why not join us this year. We have a number of divisions offering various standards (from competitive to beginners -or those like me who may have slowed down a little) across Mens, Ladies and Mixed leagues as well as our unique ‘Fusion League’ where teams are made up of any combination of male and female players. Once again the MSDBA are offering affiliation at zero cost so all you will need is to provide the courts and shuttles for matches.

Please contact our league secretary, Brian Hobbs (bhobbs1406@gmail.com), for further details.

Alternatively, if you are not yet affiliated to a club but would like to play for one, either competitively or just for the social aspect, please check out our ‘Find a Club’ pages where you will find details of what clubs play where and when and who to contact. We look forward to meeting you!

2023 / 2024 Season

Hi everyone,

The new season is upon us with the first set of matches due to take place this week.

On behalf of the committee, I would like to thank all those match secretaries involved in arranging their clubs games for all of their hard work and effort. It can be a thankless task, but without your efforts, many would not be able to enjoy competetive badminton.

Good luck to everyone involved in this years competitions, and don’t forget to follow your teams fortunes here as results are posted.

Brian Hobbs

MSDBA League Secretary
